The PMW High Energy Aspalt Mixer aggressively mixes asphalt and aggregate. Two independently driven, 1 horsepower motors counterturn the paddle and bowl, providing shorter mixing times and ensuring good aggregate coating by the asphalt. Using either an 11.5 quart mixing bowl, or an optional 16 quart mixing bowl, the mixer can make larger batches of asphalt than most others on the market. The mixer (except motor, gearboxes and drum drive), paddle and bowl are made of 304 stainless steel to ease cleaning and provide sturdy, rugged functionality.
